ABOUT ANTHONY & SAM
Anthony and Sam Lennan opened their store on Water Street in downtown Peterborough to give people an opportunity to shop locally beyond weekly market.
The Food Shop has more than 20 local suppliers providing product for the store. Fresh seasonal vegetables are stocked, including leaf lettuce, mushrooms and herbs. A large variety of potatoes are also in stock, along with local maple syrup, honey, flour and rhubarb. In the fridge are local eggs, and cheeses and their freezer is stocked with a variety of meats from Leahy Farm and Sannox Farm. We also stock a large selection of fresh roasted coffee and a variety of teas from Kyoto Coffee and Carolina’s Columbia Coffee.
